This morning, the wonderful lady who runs this coffee shop made me the best cup of tea in about 30 seconds so I could make my train. I wanted to say thank you for being so kind and helpful. Your act of kindness is making this very packed train a little more bearable. Thank you!! :)

I was cutting it close for my train, accidentally, and so I was in a bit of a frenzy but stopped to get a drink and snack and I paid with an American Express so it was was declined as they don’t take that. But, before I could repay with another card, my train pulled up, so I told the woman who was working that I didn’t have time to repay so returned the drink she had just made and the snack, but she insisted I take them and said she would pay for me. In a world where there is so much hatred and cruelty being strewn across the news daily, any act of kindness goes along way and I simply can’t get over how kind that gesture was.

Carina, the manager and the coffee make my working days more a bit more bearable. Everytime I’m going to the office in London I’ll pop in - I’ll even cross the platform if heading to Brighton. Her friendly, personable service is a great start to the day and she always remembers my order along with some friendly chat. The coffee is the best you’ll find in a train station too.
